Becoming the "Middle Man"
We help bridge the gap between independent rescuers and Northern rescues and adopters. The rescuers we partner with are overwhelmed with the amount of animals needing help in their communities, and often struggle to market their dogs for adoption or to rescues. Northbound Rescue helps create partnerships between independent rescuers and rescues in the Northeast. We work directly with our partners to make sure their dogs have what they need to move on and get adopted.
Providing for Dogs in Need
Our fundraising efforts are essential in providing the financial assistance our partners require. Northbound Rescue's goal is to raise money and supplies in a variety of ways - from standard donations to events to dog sponsorship - we try to maximize the impact of these efforts whether that be dollars, food, toys, supplies, heartworm treatment, volunteer efforts or medical treatment.
This is one of our dogs that was treated for heartworms thanks to our donors. He has since been adopted!
